Midnight

The candy, dumped and sorted, is put up for later (less a tootsie roll or chocolate bar). Storybook characters are once again littlt/not so little boys and girls, nestled in their beds. All hallows eve is over.
All saints day is here.
We remember those in the faith who have gone on before us.
We begin out attitude of gratitude--hoping it lasts a bit longer this year--for Thanksgiving is just around the corner.
Fall is in full array, with Indian summer or winters snow here and there, and Christmas crafts and music under way.
Joining Paul, praying that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened...

Happy Monday
The sun rises over Wilma's house every day. Just before it pops up, two things happen: the birds are singing their welcome, and it gets quite bright through my bedroom window. I roll over, peek out, then run to the living room to get the full view through the picture window--Glorious Morning! If I can can find a cup of strong white coffee or sweet hot tea, I linger longer on the loveseat.... Thank you God for a brand new day, full of your lovingkindness and faithfulness!

The start to everyday? Ha! Enough times to hold in my memory for those days the alarm or phone or to-do list are demanding to be first. God's presence with His promises are always there, though, and He has the day well under control before my first peek.

The day starts...the week starts...so let's go!

This week is Holy Week. Sunday we celebrated Jesus' entrance into Jerusalem. With the crowds, we wave and bow and sing and proclaim King Jesus. (You, too??)
Passion week, with much to think about and consider: Why did Jesus come, live, die and rise?

The day has ended...it's pitch black outside. But just wait a few hours and....
